The Art Gallery of Western Australia is inviting submissions for The West Australian Pulse 2027, its annual exhibition celebrating the creativity and talent of Western Australia's emerging young artists.

Groundswell is a new exhibition platform for artistic practices developing, changing or gaining visibility in Western Australia. Five to seven artists will be selected for an exhibition opening at Vessel in Fremantle in July 2027. The call welcomes new ideas, experimentation and practices that could benefit from greater scale or visibility.

Aboriginal artists, makers and businesses are invited to trade at Wardarnji, a celebration of Aboriginal culture through dance, music, storytelling and markets. The event takes place at Esplanade Park in Fremantle on 28 November, with stalls trading from 4–8.30pm.
