Stories should be plot-driven and include a form of transport with a distinctive personality, whether that is a car, horse, spaceship or something else. Detective fiction, adventure, horror, retro science fiction and other pulp styles are welcome.
Who can apply: Writers residing in Australia, including WA.
Length: 1,000–4,000 words.
Cost and payment: Free to submit; selected contributors are unpaid and retain their copyright. No royalties are paid.
Deadline: 6 November 2026, 10pm Perth time (midnight Brisbane time).
