The BREEZE: Perth–Makassar Residency is a four-week international exchange connecting artists from Western Australia and Makassar, Indonesia.
Hosted by Rumata’ Artspace and Universitas Negeri Makassar, the residency focuses on knowledge-sharing, research and the longstanding cultural connections between Australian First Nations and Makassan peoples.
The program particularly welcomes practitioners interested in independently driven research and community engagement, with First Nations applicants prioritised.
