For emerging Australian photographers
The National Emerging Art Prize is inviting unrepresented and emerging photographers to submit work for its 2026 photography category.
The winning photographer will receive a $10,000 acquisitive prize. The opportunity also includes a solo exhibition, professional mentoring and increased exposure within Australia’s contemporary art community.
Photographers must primarily reside in Australia and submitted work must have been completed during 2025 or 2026.
Applications close: 11:59 pm, 1 September 2026
Entry fee: $35 per artwork
